Lorraine was elected in May 2023 and says: “There’s no greater honour than representing the place that you care deeply about,” says Lorraine. “The people of Avenue ward have put their trust in me to fight for their priorities – facilities for children and young families, well-maintained and safe roads and pavements for local residents, and people have access to health services within the town.”
Lorraine adds ” But I will also fight, to win funding for infrastructure and services for the local area. Local people have voted for change and I will stand up for Avenue to ensure that delayed road improvements now progress as planned. We must also provide more affordable housing for our young people as well as more jobs for them in the town.“
