Liz says, ‘Again, a huge thank you to those who voted at the recent elections. Although the Lib Dems had been expecting to do well, the sheer scale of the win across the District was astonishing.
The election provided an opportunity to hear the concerns and hopes of residents at first hand. There is no doubt that this is a difficult time for many people, with pressure from the cost of living crisis and the problems that some people have in accessing services. Clearly
the powers of the district council in this respect are limited but I will do everything I can to help residents with their problems.
